Job summary

GBA invites motivated architecture students for a summer Architect Intern - Life Sciences in Lenexa, KS. Work with project architects and engineers on a range of new and renovation projects, gaining hands-on experience in a collaborative setting.

You’ll support design efforts, create project details, and learn about corporate offices, pharma clean rooms, R&D labs, and manufacturing spaces while developing strong presentation and software skills.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in an accredited Architecture program (junior year preferred).
• Ability to demonstrate strong design capabilities.
• Experience with AutoCAD and Revit (preferred).
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Provide design support to Project Architects and other team members.
• Create and edit project-specific details.
• Assist with maintaining project files and notes from meetings.
• Gain exposure to projects including corporate offices, pharmaceutical clean rooms, R&D/QA labs, fleet maintenance, and industrial/manufacturing spaces.
• Other duties as assigned.
