Job summary

CBRE seeks a hands-on Building Engineer to support operations at a two-building Life Science campus in Cambridge Crossing. The role covers office and lab spaces, with a day shift and some flexible start times.

You will help maintain HVAC, plumbing, and life safety systems to ensure reliability and occupant satisfaction. The ideal candidate has experience in mission-critical or technical commercial environments, strong maintenance skills, and a focus on proactive upkeep and operational

Qualifications

High School Diploma, GED, or trade school with 4–5 years of related experience.
EPA Universal 608 certification.
Ability to lift 50 lbs and meet physical requirements.
Experience in mission-critical or technical commercial environments.

Responsibilities

Perform maintenance and repairs on mechanical, plumbing, life safety and control systems.
Ensure systems operate within applicable codes and safety directives.
Maintain an energy management program for efficiency.
Support preventive maintenance and emergency repairs as needed.
Follow safe handling of hazardous materials and keep a clean workplace.
Review building systems to ensure environmental conditions meet client specs.
