Job summary

Missouri University Research Reactor (MURR) in Columbia, MO is seeking a Nuclear Manufacturing Technician to join the production team. This role focuses on cross-functional manufacture of life‑saving medical radioisotopes in a regulated cGMP environment, with emphasis on accuracy and teamwork.

You will work in a cleanroom and lab, document activities, and follow SOPs while contributing to process improvements. Training is provided and on-site availability is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; at least 1 year experience.
• cGMP/GLP experience preferred; hazardous/radioactive materials handling.
• Aseptic technique and cleanroom experience recommended.
• Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM field preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Assist cross-functional manufacture of medical radioisotopes in FDA GMP/NRC setting.
• Prepare lab and documentation for processes with regulatory compliance.
• Set up and clean production apparatus; calibrate reagents; document progress.
• Follow SOPs for production and dispensing of products.
• Support project and process development; manage inventories as needed.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and reliability initiatives.
• Work in cleanrooms; handle hazardous materials; Hot Cell work.
