Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking an experienced Air Ambulance Pilot based at Elko Air Base, NV. The role demands FAA-certified piloting with helicopter hours and strong flight planning, communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• FAA pilot certifications and medical certification required.
• 2,500 hours total helicopter flight time; 100 cross-country hours incl. 25 night.
• 75 instrument hours; 100 unaided night hours; Pass 135.293 check ride within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Operate aircraft per FAA regs, company policies and mission protocols.
• Plan and conduct flights considering weather, weight & balance, fuel needs.
• Coordinate with medical staff, ground crew and dispatch for missions.
• Respond to emergency calls and maintain flight readiness.
• Maintain accurate flight and maintenance logs per FAA requirements.
• Represent Intermountain Health professionally with patients and the public.
