Job summary

The American Red Cross is seeking a Blood Storage & Distribution Technician in Tulsa, OK. You will receive, pack, and ship blood products to hospitals, triaging orders by urgency and ensuring proper temperature-controlled packaging for safe transport.

You will maintain accurate records, communicate with clients and vendors, and support inventory and delivery duties as needed. Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in regulatory, distribution, or manufacturing environments preferred.
• Strong computer skills and accurate data entry required.

Responsibilities

• Receive, process, pack and ship blood products for hospital orders.
• Triage orders by date/time needs and ensure correct temperature-controlled packaging.
• Maintain product records for traceability and accurate data entry.
• Communicate with hospital clients, volunteers and vendors in a professional manner.
• May perform hospital deliveries and support inventory control throughout shipping.
• Adhere to quality standards and safety regulations in all processes.
