Job summary

The American Red Cross is seeking a dedicated driver to transport blood products and materials on a set route in Kentucky. You will load, secure, and deliver items while ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance. A valid license and clean DMV record are required, with the ability to work a 6:30am–3:00pm weekday schedule.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and clean DMV record.
• Ability to drive for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Operate vehicle for delivery of blood products and materials safely and within traffic laws.
• Verify orders, load vehicles, and maintain route inventory for prompt delivery.
• Document storage and transportation of blood and materials per regulatory requirements.
• Provide positive customer service and information to employees.
• Maintain vehicle condition and perform basic shipping/receiving tasks.
