Job summary

The American Red Cross in the United States is seeking a driver to deliver blood products and materials along an assigned route or as needed, ensuring proper storage and safe handling.

A High School diploma, valid driver's license with clean DMV record, and the ability to drive long distances are required. The schedule is Monday–Friday, 6:30am–3:00pm, and pay is $18.21 per hour with shift differentials.

Qualifications

• Ability to drive for long periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Operate vehicle for delivery of blood products and materials safely and within traffic laws.
• Prepare for deliveries by verifying orders, loading vehicles, and maintaining route supply inventory.
• Document temporary storage and transportation of blood, blood products, and materials as required by regulations.
• Provide customer service by giving basic information and interacting with employees and customers.
• Maintain vehicle conditions by keeping it clean and checking fluids/gas levels.
• Provide shipping and receiving support as directed.
