Job summary

American Red Cross in the United States is seeking a customer-focused individual to drive an American Red Cross vehicle, pick up and deliver blood products and materials, and support loading and unloading on an assigned route or as needed. You will interact with internal and external customers in a compassionate, professional manner while adhering to safety and regulatory requirements.

The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent and a valid driver’s license with a clean DMV record.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and clean DMV record required.

Responsibilities

• Operate vehicle for the delivery of blood products and materials safely and within traffic laws.
• Prepare deliveries by verifying orders, loading vehicles, and maintaining route supply inventory for prompt delivery.
• Document temporary storage and transportation of blood, blood products, and materials as required by internal and external regulatory requirements.
• Provide customer service by giving basic information and interacting in a positive, proactive manner with employees.
