Job summary

Vallen in Pasadena, TX is seeking a Tech Services Supervisor focused on Life Safety Services. You will oversee daily activities and performance for a team of service technicians, ensuring work meets contract SLAs and customer specs. You will train staff, enforce SOPs, and coordinate with clients to deliver high-quality safety service.

The role requires supervisory experience, strong communication, and deep knowledge of life safety equipment. Travel and on-site work are possible as needed.

Qualifications

• High School or GED
• 6+ years of applicable direct experience
• 5+ current certifications in a fire protection related field
• Mechanically inclined
• Advanced communication, initiative and problem-solving skills
• Valid driver's license; CDL may be required for hazardous materials transport

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of Service Technicians, including hiring, coaching and disciplinary actions.
• Liaise with the customer for coordination of work requests and activity.
• Review and approve all labor times reported by technicians.
• Monitor profitability, utilization rates and other company metrics.
• Identify process or cost-saving opportunities and collaborate with clients.
• Perform safety and technical audits and oversee quality inspections.
• Maintain asset management and client facility protection.
• Ensure complete and accurate documentation for invoicing.
• Maintain inventories related to jobs and maintenance orders.
• Respond to emergency field calls and assist with parts as needed.
