Job summary

Vallen is seeking a Lead Service Technician focused on Life Safety Services to install, inspect, test, and maintain life safety systems for established customers on a scheduled basis, leveraging maintenance expertise within the Vallen Safety Services Group.

You will lead other technicians, coordinate job activities, ensure documentation for invoicing is accurate, and uphold safety standards while supporting field operations in Texas.

Qualifications

• Must have High School or GED
• NICET II or greater in fire protection
• Experience with Fire Alarm & Ext A systems (2–4 years)
• RME-I (if applicable)
• Commercial Driver's License if carrying hazardous materials

Responsibilities

• Provide quality service to customers and assist HTS technicians with training
• Install/inspect/test/maintain Life Safety Systems (fire extinguishers, alarms, detectors)
• Coordinate jobs in absence of Technician Lead
• Lead other technicians within area of expertise
• Ensure proper invoicing through accurate task documentation
• Maintain inventory and ensure regulatory compliance (OSHA, NFPA)
