Job summary

Vallen USA is seeking a Service Technician I to handle the installation and maintenance of life safety systems in Pasadena, Texas. The roles include performing inspections, conducting service calls, and ensuring compliance with safety standards while providing exceptional customer service.

The ideal candidate should have at least one certification in fire protection, a high school diploma or GED, and be mechanically inclined. This position involves working in various environments and may require physical labor.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-year related experience.
• Current Motor Vehicle License with good driving record.
• Must pass Drug & Alcohol screen, Physical exam, and background check.

Responsibilities

• Install and inspect life safety systems and equipment.
• Perform emergency troubleshooting and maintain life safety systems.
• Provide customer service for installation and maintenance of life safety systems.

Skills

Mechanically inclined

Experience in installation and/or maintenance of life safety systems

Proficient with hand tools

Ability to read, write and comprehend English

Education

High School or GED

Minimum 1 Certification in a fire protection related field
