Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of directly related experience.
• Familiarity with basic electrical concepts (voltage, current, resistance) and AC/DC power.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams, basic electrical schematics, and mechanical drawings.
• Strong problem-solving ability and mechanical/electrical aptitude.
• Adherence to laboratory electrical safety protocols and PPE.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable driving record.
• Proficiency in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook).

• Ability to work in fast-paced environments with deadlines.
• Ability to use basic shop equipment and hand tools.
• Ability to convey technical information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Receive, log, inspect, and track client test samples throughout testing lifecycle.
• Set up and execute standard test plans under engineering supervision.
• Construct, wire, and troubleshoot test benches and fixtures.
• Install thermocouples, strain gauges, and sensor probes for evaluations.
• Operate calibrated laboratory test equipment (multimeters, power sources, DAQs, hi-pot testers, oscilloscopes, etc.).
• Record and format test data and capture photographic evidence of setups and failures.
• Maintain laboratory 5S standards and ensure safety compliance.
• Verify calibration status of equipment and assist with maintenance.
• Perform other duties as required.
