Northwest Health is seeking a Life Safety Coordinator to develop and maintain life safety and fire protection programs that comply with applicable codes and standards. This role oversees inspections, documentation, training, and drills to protect patients, staff, and visitors.

The position requires coordinating with clinical and non-clinical teams, regulatory agencies, and service vendors to ensure a safe environment and regulatory readiness.

Formación

• 3-5 years of experience in hospital facilities, plant operations, life safety, or a related safety compliance role.
• Experience with life safety code compliance and documentation in a healthcare setting preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Ensures compliance with life safety regulations (JC, NFPA, OSHA, CMS).
• Conducts inspections of life safety systems, alarms, sprinklers, lighting, and exits.
• Coordinates fire drills and emergency preparedness training for staff.
• Maintains detailed records of audits, inspections, training, and safety reports.
• Liaises with AHJ and external inspectors to schedule facility inspections.
• Oversees fire alarm monitoring systems and communicates issues to staff.
• Reviews and updates Environment of Care and Disaster Plans; maintains manuals.
• Manages service contracts and inventory for safety devices and devices.
• Prepares reports for the Environment of Care Committee and leadership.
• Supports purchasing and coordination of safety upgrades with vendors.
