Zusammenfassung

UNC Finance and Operations is seeking Electronics Specialist – Journey to support Life Safety, Fire Detection and Suppression systems in our facilities in North Carolina. The role involves preventive maintenance, inspections, and modifications to life-safety electronics and monitoring systems.

Qualified candidates must hold NICET Level II for Fire Alarm Systems and Water-Based Inspection/Testing, plus NC licenses for fire sprinkler inspection and maintenance.

Qualifikationen

• NICET Level II certification for Fire Alarm Systems is required.
• NICET Level II certification for Inspection & Testing of Water-Based Systems required.
• Fire Sprinkler Inspection Technician License (NC) required.
• Fire Sprinkler Maintenance Technician License (NC) required.
• If not currently certified/licensed, university will fund licenses within 3 years; NICET/NC licenses must be obtained.
• Must possess valid NC driver’s license before hire.

Aufgaben

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on Life Safety, Fire Detection and Suppression systems, Equipment Monitoring Systems and related electronics.
• Install and modify Life Safety, Fire Detection and Suppression Systems and Equipment Monitoring Systems.
• Perform PMs and repairs on Life Safety systems following manufacturer specs, NFPA codes and fire-related standards.
