Job summary

Honeywell is seeking an Electrical Hardware Engineer to design circuits for life safety fire products at Honeywell Building Technologies. You will create schematics, layouts, BOMs, and design documents, selecting components for performance, reliability, and cost.

Expect hands-on prototyping, testing, and support for regulatory and product-release activities. The role requires a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or related field and 2+ years of experience in analog/digital/RF/power design,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 2+ years' experience in electronic hardware design, schematics and PCB development.
• 2+ years' experience in analog/digital/RF/power circuit design.
• Ability to design/review PCBs using IPC standards and good layout practices.
• Ability to read datasheets, drawings, BOMs, and assembly documents.
• Hands-on experience testing and troubleshooting boards with lab equipment.
• Experience selecting components based on performance, reliability, availability and cost.
