Winged Keel Group is seeking an Life Insurance Underwriting Assistant to provide essential administrative support to the underwriting team. You will handle case setup, order required checks, APSes, and assist with application delivery and signatures.

Ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree, exceptional attention to detail, and strong written and verbal communication. Proficiency in Word/Outlook with basic Excel/PowerPoint is expected; fast-paced environment experience is a plus.

• Proficient in Word and Outlook; basic knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsabilidades

• Case set up and create/update case records in database.
• Order Prescription Checks and MVRs.
• Order APSes and track underwriting progress.
• Complete life insurance applications and prepare for delivery.
• Prepare documents for signature via DocuSign and for MHS paperwork.
• Distribute and file carrier product and underwriting updates.
• Develop basic knowledge of carrier products.
• Use resource sites to download correct application paperwork for ongoing cases.
• Enter application and policy information in company database.
• Review policies and prepare policy delivery package and cover letter.
• Fax documents to carriers and vendors; copy and scan documents.
• Create FedEx labels and oversee sending packages by messenger.
• Break down underwriting files after case closes and transition to Client Services.
