The Juris Agency in Colorado is seeking a driven life insurance specialist to expand the life book of business and protect families with essential coverage. The role blends internal and external marketing to grow the client base and maximize value for current life policies.

You will work a Mon-Fri schedule with competitive hourly base plus commissions and bonuses, plus benefits. The position offers training, growth opportunities, and a supportive team culture in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Active Colorado Life License required.
• Computer and technology savvy; quick to learn new systems.
• Proficient with Microsoft systems.
• Strong writing and grammar skills.
• Able to perform in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable transportation and ability to pass background check.

Responsibilities

• Current Life Policy Servicing: conduct annual reviews and ensure coverage adequacy.
• Make policy changes, rewrites, adds, and conversions as appropriate.
• Cross-sell to other personal lines not with agency.
• New Life Customer Prospecting: outbound calls, emails, mailers.
• External Marketing & Networking; manage Facebook posts and promotions centered on life.
• Attend networking and chamber events; visit local businesses.
• Run booths at local events and support agency marketing campaigns.

We are a local insurance agency looking for a go-getter ready to help us grow our life insurance customers and help us protect more families with the most important policy they can own. We are looking for a driven, responsible, and outgoing individual that is passionate about helping others. This role’s primary responsibility is to grow our life book of business with new life customers as well as maximize value & protection with current life customers.

This position is 50% internal marketing & 50% external marketing.

• Competitive hourly base ($19.00 - $21.50) + commissions + bonuses
• Year 1 Target Goal pay range expected: $51k - $60k+

Responsibilities

Current Life Policy Servicing

• Make policy changes, rewrites, adds, and conversions as appropriate
• Cross-sell to other personal lines not with agency

New Life Customer Prospecting

• Work agency book of business and cross-sell to non-life customers
• Includes making outbound calls, emails, & mailers
• External Marketing & Networking
• Responsible for running Facebook posts and promotions centered on life
• Solicit and market for new life insurance prospects
• Attend networking and chamber events
• Visit local businesses
• Run booths at local events

General Agency Support

Will be cross-trained on personal lines systems and products to better promote agency offerings as a whole

Assist with various marketing and internal cross-selling campaigns

Assist with other marketing events and activities as needed

Requirements

Must have an active Colorado Life License

Must be computer & technology savvy and able to pick up new systems quickly

Must be proficient with Microsoft systems

Must be able to type well, use proper grammar, & accurate spelling

Must be able to operate efficiently & accurately in a fast-paced environment

Fast Learner, great note taker, & great note utilization

Must be able to follow, retain, & implement verbal instruction

Must be capable of learning via screen sharing & video calls

Highly detail oriented
