NTT DATA, Inc. is seeking an experienced Associate Director to lead the life insurance claims function. This role provides leadership, operational oversight, and client-driven solutions to enhance performance and service quality within a highly regulated environment.

The ideal candidate will manage managers and teams, drive process improvements, and ensure financial accountability while delivering exceptional client service to enterprise clients across the United States.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of life insurance contracts, contestability periods, and beneficiary validation.
• 5+ years of progressive life insurance claims experience with leadership experience.
• Experience managing budgets, financial performance, and operational initiatives.
• Experience leading client-facing programs or strategic projects.
• Knowledge of project management principles and methodologies.
• Experience managing large-scale operations and enterprise clients.
• Leadership experience supervising claims teams and managers.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to assigned departments through managers and team leaders.
• Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with goals.
• Monitor performance metrics and implement corrective actions.
• Lead change management and support growth strategies.
• Serve as primary contact for key clients and executives.
• Build strong client relationships through proactive communication and service delivery.
• Develop proposals and business cases for client and executive review.
• Manage departmental budgets and financial performance.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Oversee end-to-end claims lifecycle and ensure compliance with regulations.
