Job summary

Security National Life Insurance Company seeks a detail-oriented administrator to process applications for new business, review forms, and update policy records. You will work with underwriters and agents to verify accuracy and ensure timely processing.

The role includes phone inspections, policy issuance, and handling changes and refunds, with standard Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm hours, in a supportive team that values a Top Workplace culture and solid benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Basic computer operation skills.
• Type at least 35 words per minute.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Strong attention to detail.
• Able to learn new processes quickly.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Mon-Fri, 8 am–5 pm schedule.

Responsibilities

• Receive applications for new business.
• Review applications for accuracy.
• Enter applications into administrative systems.
• Coordinate with underwriting and agents to resolve questions.
• Conduct phone inspections with applicants.
• Communicate with agents on pending applications.
• Issue and mail policies.
• Cancel declined/expired applications and process refunds; Journal entries for plan changes.
