Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field with two years of insurance industry experience.
• Knowledge of life, health, and accident insurance.
• Knowledge of contract law as it relates to insurance and state regulations.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.

Responsibilities

• Reviews life, accident, and health insurance contracts for Maine compliance.
• Consults with insurance company representatives to clarify and adjust contract provisions.
• Researches insurance issues to develop solutions and improve procedures or regulations.
• Advise Bureau of Insurance staff with technical information in your area of expertise.
• Respond to inquiries and complaints from the public regarding insurance matters.
