SDI Staffing in Monticello, MN, is seeking a Life Insurance Licensing and Contracting Specialist to join our in-office team. You will manage licensing and contracting requests, review incoming contracts, contact agents for missing documents, and ensure timely processing of applications.

The role requires 2–5 years of life and annuity insurance experience, strong communication and organizational skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Suite.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of licensing and contracting processes within life and annuity insurance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite.
• Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize, delegate, and multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Review and prepare incoming contracts for input into the electronic work stream.
• Contact agents for missing documents.
• Process a high volume of work within established accuracy and time goals.
• Review and analyze error notices on new policy applications.
• Notify agents of required licensing, Errors and Omissions coverage, and Anti-Money Laundering training.
• Process agent License and Appointments by performing necessary transactions to process state licensing, including payment of fees to state insurance.
• Complete agent terminations by sending letters and terminating agent record and state appointments in all required systems.
• Communicate with agents, field force, state insurance departments and vendors via telephone or email.

Life Insurance Licensing and Contracting Specialist needed for an agency located in Monticello, MN! Our client is a premier distributor of life, annuity, long-term care, and securities-based insurance products serving financial professionals nationwide. You'll be at the center of it all, working closely with Partners, Carriers, Advisors, and Marketers to ensure smooth processing of agent licenses and contracting requests. HOURS: 8:30 am to 5:30 pm CST DURATION: Direct Hire WORKPLACE: In office PAY: $50,000 to $65,000 (To qualify for $60k + you must have recent existing life insurance licensing and contracting experience.)
