Job summary

Compass is seeking Life Guides to help adults with disabilities live meaningful, independent lives. You will provide one-on-one support in clients' homes and communities, assist with errands, appointments and daily tasks, and advocate during medical visits.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver’s license, insurance, and reliable vehicle.
• Comfortable supporting medical needs and advocating for others.
• Enjoy helping people live more freely and independently.
• Willing to pass a background check (Compass covers cost).
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred or training provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support to clients in their homes and communities.
• Assistance with errands, appointments, and daily tasks.
• Advocacy and support at medical appointments.
• Help with medication reminders and health-related coordination.
• Participation in community activities and building life skills.
