Job summary

Memorial Hermann seeks a dedicated Nurse Educator to develop, provide, and coordinate direct staff education, orientation training, and curriculum development. You will work with Life Flight Educators to maintain certifications and serve as an instructor on the Texas Medical Center campus.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree, Texas RN license, Basic Life Support, and at least five years of clinical nursing experience with a demonstrated leadership role.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field.
Texas RN license/permit to practice professional nursing.
Completion of Basic Life Support.
Experience as a leader in nursing specialty.

Responsibilities

Develop, coordinate and evaluate staff education and curricula.
Serve as an educational resource and preceptor for staff.
Collaborate with Life Flight Educators to maintain certifications.
Advise on orientation programs and learning plans.
Ensure safe, compassionate patient education and care.
