Job summary
Camellia Health & Rehab in Claxton, GA seeks a Life Enrichment Program Director to lead the Seven Dimensions of Wellness, develop calendars, and coordinate staff and volunteers to deliver resident-centered activities.
The ideal candidate holds a licensed or certified recreation specialist credential, with 2+ years in a social or recreation program and healthcare experience preferred; GHCA 36-hour certification may be obtained in the first year. This full-time role offers comprehensive benefits.
Qualifications
- Licensed or certified recreation specialist status.
- At least 2 years of experience in a social or recreation program within the last 5 years.
- 1 year of full-time Life Enrichment in a healthcare setting recommended.
Responsibilities
- Develop and direct Life Enrichment program across Seven Dimensions of Wellness.
- Maintain activity calendars reflecting patient needs and events.
- Promote programs during evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Develop and supervise a volunteer program with screening and training.
- Participate in IDT and care planning processes.
- Coordinate activities with other departments and maintain inter-departmental communication.
