First Atlantic Healthcare in Presque Isle is seeking an experienced Activities Director to lead our Life Enrichment program for seniors and residents with disabilities. You will design, implement, and oversee engaging activities that support physical, cognitive, social, and emotional well-being.

In this leadership role, you will coordinate with staff, involve volunteers, ensure compliance, and provide compassionate, person-centered programs that inspire joy every day.

Qualifications

• Experience in leading activities for individuals with cognitive, physical, or sensory disabilities.
• Knowledge of how an Activity Department functions in a nursing facility.
• Strong interpersonal, energetic, creative, and communicative skills.
• Willingness to obtain NCCAP certification or complete a state-approved training within six months.

Responsabilités

• Program Leadership & Direction: Plan and direct activity programs for all residents.
• Specialized Resident Support: Assist impaired individuals and families with hobbies and leisure activities.
• Volunteer Program Development: Build and manage a volunteers network.
• Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate records and implement program requirements.
