Job summary

The Terraces at Tuckerman Lane is seeking a Life Enrichment Director to lead stimulating programs for Assisted Living and Memory Care residents. You will partner with the Executive Director and community partners to build a strong volunteer network and an engaging activity calendar.

Qualifications include at least one year of supervisory experience, a high school diploma (college degree preferred), and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Evening/weekend availability is expected.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience in senior living, recreation, or related field.
• Ability to lead, train, and motivate staff and volunteers.
• Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations for resident services.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word/Outlook/Excel).
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends to support events.
• High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
• CDL or related driving certification may be applicable for resident transport duties.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead activities and enrichment programs for residents.
• Build relationships with schools, businesses, and community groups for volunteers and resources.
• Create and maintain a comprehensive activity calendar.
• Monitor departmental budgets and financial performance.
• Recruit, hire, train, and retain a life enrichment team.
• Develop innovative programs to support independence and social connection.
• Ensure programs comply with applicable regulations and evaluate effectiveness.
