Job summary

Walnut Ridge seeks a Life Enrichment Director to lead the Daily Life Enrichment program for Assisted Living residents, ensuring engaging activities and meaningful daily experiences.

The role requires supervising volunteers, coordinating with staff and community partners, and maintaining an activity calendar, with budget oversight and compliance with state regulations. Evening/weekend availability may be required.

Qualifications

• Manage volunteers and lead enrichment activities.
• Supervise and coach activity staff and volunteers.
• Coordinate with departments and community partners to expand programs.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and certifications.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications for planning and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coordinate, manage, and develop volunteer-based activities and programs that enrich the lives of residents.
• Collaborate with department heads and the ED to build relationships with schools, businesses, and organizations for volunteers and resources.
• Develop and maintain a calendar of activities and events for resident and family experiences.
• Budget preparation and monitoring of expenses and financial statements to meet targets.
• Recruit, hire, coach, and retain a high-performing team.
