Job summary

Better Living seeks a Life Enrichment Director to design and lead engaging experiences that honor each resident’s life story and abilities. You’ll develop a calendar of activities promoting well-being and meaningful engagement, collaborating with care teams to support memory care residents.

You will foster creativity, dignity, and resident-led participation while aligning with our mission to provide compassionate, joyful senior living experiences.

Qualifications

• Experience in activities, recreation, life enrichment, or related field preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Technology fluency and willingness to learn new software platforms.
• Experience in senior living, memory care, or related setting is preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead a robust calendar of daily, weekly, and monthly life-enrichment experiences.
• Design programs supporting physical, emotional, cognitive, social, and spiritual well-being.
• Ensure activities are inclusive and adaptable for all abilities.
• Foster resident leadership, clubs, and peer-to-peer involvement.
• Collaborate with care team to support memory care residents with purposeful programming.
