Hayden Grove St. Anthony is seeking a Life Enrichment Director to lead engaging programs across Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care.

You’ll design monthly calendars, supervise a team, and partner with nursing leadership to keep activities meaningful for all residents while leveraging the TSO Life Engagement platform. You’ll recruit volunteers, manage a budget, coordinate transportation and community partnerships, and drive the activity bus to bring joy and connection to every

Competenze

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in activities or life enrichment in senior living.
• Degree in Gerontology, Human Services, or related field; Activity Director cert or equivalent.
• Creative, outgoing personality with passion for older adults.
• Strong leadership to motivate and develop a team.
• Experience planning programs for residents with varying abilities.
• Willingness to learn and train others on the TSO Life Engagement platform.
• Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills.
• Valid driver's license and ability to drive the activity bus for outings.
• Ability to prioritize safety, dignity and well-being.

What You'll Do

• Bring the fun and creativity! Design and lead engaging programs, special events, outings, entertainment, and celebrations that make every day meaningful.
• Lead and inspire a team! Supervise, mentor, and support Life Enrichment team members while creating a positive, collaborative environment.
• Create something for everyone! Develop monthly activity calendars tailored to the interests and abilities of residents in Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care.
• Make meaningful connections! Build relationships with residents and families, listen to their ideas, and create experiences that reflect what matters most to them.
• Think outside the box! Bring fresh ideas to life through music, art, fitness, educational programs, social gatherings, and community partnerships.
• Make Memory Care meaningful! Partner with nursing leadership to support engaging, purposeful programming for residents living with memory loss. Help train and mentor care staff in leading meaningful activities.
• Embrace technology! Learn and utilize the TSO Life Engagement platform to enhance resident programming, track engagement, and train your team to use the platform effectively.
• Bring the community together! Recruit, train, and coordinate volunteers while building relationships with entertainers, local organizations, and community partners.
• Create memorable experiences! Coordinate resident outings, special celebrations, theater events, educational opportunities, and community excursions.
• Get out and explore! Drive the community activity bus to transport residents to outings, events, and activities.
• Give residents a voice! Partner with Resident Council and other resident committees to develop programs based on resident interests and feedback.
• Keep everyone connected! Oversee the monthly community newsletter, highlighting upcoming events, resident stories, and campus happenings.
• Own your program! Manage the Life Enrichment budget, evaluate programming, coordinate transportation, and continually look for ways to enhance the resident experience.
• Create a positive environment! Ensure programs are appropriately supervised, support team performance, and maintain strong relationships with residents, families, and staff.

What We're Looking For

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in activities or life enrichment within senior living, assisted living, or long-term care.
• Degree in Gerontology, Human Services, Therapeutic Recreation, Social Services, Activity Director certification, or equivalent relevant experience.
• A creative, outgoing personality with a genuine passion for working with older adults.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate, coach, and develop a team.
• Experience planning and leading programs for residents with varying interests, abilities, and cognitive needs.
• Willingness to learn, utilize, and train team members on the TSO Life Engagement platform.
• Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage budgets, coordinate events, and balance multiple priorities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer programs.
• Must have a valid driver's license and be willing and able to drive the community activity bus for resident outings and events.
• Ability to make sound decisions with residents' safety, dignity, and well-being in mind.
