Job summary

Sequoia Living, Inc. seeks an individual to plan, organize, and implement community activities that support residents’ social, emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual well-being.

The role involves collaborating with residents, families, and staff to provide engaging programs across the community. Responsibilities include preparing calendars, maintaining records, coordinating logistics, and guiding volunteers and vendors under the Director of Life Enrichment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of OBRA regulations and California codes related to activities and social services.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families and staff.
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills to plan and document programs.

Responsibilities

• Implements programs addressing residents’ individual needs and group participation.
• Maintains inventories of materials and supplies for activities.
• Prepares and posts a monthly activities calendar; communicates with residents and families.
• Assists with assessments, records, plans, and evaluations of the program and resident participation.
• Sets up/breaks down furniture, AV equipment, and other activity-related gear.
• Assists residents to and from activities and engages them during activities.
• Schedules locations and transportation for outings; coordinates with vendors.
