Job summary

The Avalon of New Albany is seeking a Life Enrichment Coordinator to plan, schedule, and coordinate meaningful activities for residents to support physical, mental, and social well-being. You will work under the Life Enrichment programs framework and contribute to a vibrant, supportive community.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, with an associate's degree preferred, and prior experience with seniors in activities or life enrichment is favored.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Associate’s degree preferred
• Six (6) months experience working with seniors in activities/life enrichment preferred
• Background check required
• Valid Drivers License required

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, scheduling, and coordinating all resident activities and special events according to Life Enrichment programs.
• Promote a healthy community culture for residents and staff.
• Provide educational opportunities on disease prevention and management within wellness program.
• Lead daily resident activities and follow Community standards.
• Prepare and distribute monthly calendars.
• Plan and execute diverse programs for a diverse resident population including memory care needs.
