Premier Senior Living, LLC in New York is seeking a Life Enrichment Coordinator to design and oversee an engaging activities program for residents, promoting entertainment, exercise, relaxation, and expression while addressing social and spiritual needs.

You will work with residents who are physically, emotionally, and cognitively challenged to explore meaningful avocations and leisure pursuits, cultivating a warm, supportive community.

Qualifications

• State-approved training must be completed within six months of employment.
• Degree and certification as a therapeutic recreation specialist, music therapist, or art therapist.

Responsabilités

• Develop, implement, and oversee a program of activities to meet residents' social, emotional, physical, and spiritual needs.
• Create and maintain an ongoing calendar of activities and events.
• Coordinate external community activities and outreach with clubs, groups, churches, and volunteers.
• Prepare a monthly activity newsletter for families and residents, including electronic distribution.
• Develop, train, and maintain an active volunteer program and support the Resident Council.
