Job summary

Masonic Village Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Burlington, NJ, is seeking a Life Enrichment Coordinator for part-time evening hours.

You will assist in planning and leading activities for Assisted Living and Memory Care residents, support volunteers, and coordinate programs while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance. Excellent interpersonal skills and Office proficiency required.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in senior living, recreation, activities, or related field preferred.
• High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate residents, staff, and volunteers while fostering a welcoming environment.
• Working knowledge of regulations related to resident services and activities preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) and ability to learn new software.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, coordinating, and leading activities and enrichment programs for Assisted Living and Memory Care residents.
• Support the Life Enrichment Director in maintaining a comprehensive calendar of activities, events, and programs.
• Help recruit, coordinate, and support volunteers to enhance resident engagement.
• Assist with developing and maintaining relationships with local schools, businesses, and community organizations.
• Encourage resident participation by building positive relationships and tailoring activities to interests and abilities.
• Support department operations, including activity preparation, documentation, supply management, and event coordination.
• Assist with supervising activity staff and volunteers while promoting a positive, team-oriented environment.
• Ensure activities are conducted safely and in compliance with regulations.
• Provide support during evenings, weekends, and special events.

Part-time opportunity available

3:30 PM- 7:30 PM

$21 an hour (all-inclusive)

Qualifications for Life Enrichment Coordinator:

• At least one (1) year of experience in senior living, recreation, activities, or a related field preferred.
• High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate residents, staff, and volunteers while fostering a welcoming and engaging environment.
• Working knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations related to resident services and activities preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) and the ability to learn new software applications.
• Ability to maintain required state-level certifications or licenses (such as a CDL, if applicable, for resident transportation duties).
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and special events as needed.
