Job summary

Acts Retirement-Life Communities is seeking a Life Engagement Assistant in our assisted living neighborhood. You will assist the Life Engagement Coordinator in planning and implementing programs and events that provide residents with the Acts Signature Experience (ASE), focusing on wellness, person-centered living, and hospitality.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Minimum of one year of activities/recreation experience.
Dementia engagement certification (or willing to obtain within one year of employment).
Current or eligible for certification in CPR.

Responsibilities

Assist Life Engagement Coordinator in planning and implementing programs and events providing residents with Acts Signature Experience (ASE).
Ensure residents of differing cognitive and functional levels have opportunities for meaningful engagement consistent with the Acts engagement philosophy.
Programs are informed by Montessori principles of resident empowerment and engagement.
