Job summary

Waterstone at Wellesley is a premier senior living community seeking a Life Enrichment Assistant (Activities Assistant) to join our activities programming team. This part-time role offers 20 hours per week with shifts 10am–5pm on Monday, Friday, and Saturday, giving you the chance to enrich residents' daily lives.

In this role you will implement a wide range of resident programs, support other departments as needed, and help create a vibrant, engaging community.

Qualifications

• Creative, enthusiastic and outgoing; able to work independently.
• Dependable, reliable, and highly motivated.
• Excellent communication and professional demeanor.
• Some computer knowledge and strong customer service skills.
• Experience with families in a senior living environment.
• Experience in Senior Living preferred.
• Willing to transport/escort residents on community trips.
• Able to push, pull and lift a minimum of 15 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Must be flexible with offering support in other departments within the community as needed; completes required paperwork.

Responsibilities

• The Activities Assistant implements a wide array of programming for residents in our community and helps keep our residents engaged.
• Must be flexible with offering support in other departments within the community as needed. Completes required paperwork.

Qualifications

• We are seeking a creative, enthusiastic and outgoing person who is able to work independently. Must be dependable, reliable and highly motivated.
• Must have excellent communication skills, professional demeanor and leadership abilities.
• Some computer knowledge and excellent customer service skills.
• Experience working and interacting with families in a customer based Senior Living environment.
• Experience working in Senior Living preferred.
• Must be willing to transport/escort residents on community trips.
• Must be able to push, pull and/or lift a minimum of 15 lbs.
