Job summary

GOEBEL FIXTURE COMPANY is seeking a Life Enrichment Assistant in Virginia Beach to plan, promote, and run engaging activities for residents. The role supports residents’ spiritual, physical, intellectual, cultural, and emotional well-being with energy and a creative spirit.

The position offers a base pay range of $19.00 to $23.89 per hour, is non-exempt full-time, and requires an active driver’s license. You will help organize events, contribute to newsletters, and occasionally transport

Qualifications

• Active driver’s license in good standing.
• Ability to plan and run community activities.
• Excellent interpersonal communication and empathy.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement spiritual, physical, intellectual, cultural, and emotional programming for residents.
• Promote and communicate upcoming community events and activities.
• Participate in activities and assist in organizing games, art, singing, and music.
• Use social media, email, and newsletters to showcase daily happenings.
• Occasionally drive the company vehicle to transport residents to events (age 21+).
• Help set up and break down events and activities.

At our community, our Life Enrichment Assistants play a key role in enriching our residents to live an active vibrant life!

What will you get to do as a Life Enrichment Assistant?

• Get to know the residents of our community so that you can help with the planning and implementation of spiritual, physical, intellectual, cultural, and emotional programming that will make residents feel engaged and fulfilled.
• Promote and communicate upcoming community events and activities.
• Participate in activities. Residents love games, painting, singing, and music and we need someone to help organize and run these events!
• Utilize social media, email, and newsletters to showcase the fun things happening each day!
• Those 21 or over may occasionally drive the company vehicle to transport residents to and from events.
• Help set up and break down events and activities.
