Job summary

Goebel Fixture Company is seeking a Life Enrichment Assistant at our Richmond community. This part-time, non-exempt role focuses on planning and delivering engaging activities to enrich residents’ spiritual, physical, intellectual, cultural, and emotional lives.

You’ll promote events, help run games and crafts, drive occasionally if over 21, and use newsletters to share daily highlights. A positive, energetic attitude and good driving record are essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to connect with people and understand residents' needs.
• Energetic, creative, and positive attitude.
• Must have an active driver's license in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement spiritual, physical, intellectual, cultural, and emotional activities to engage residents.
• Promote and communicate upcoming events and activities.
• Participate in activities; help organize and run games, painting, singing, and music.
• Use social media, email, and newsletters to showcase daily events.
• Occasionally drive the company vehicle to transport residents (21+).
• Set up and break down events and activities.

At our community, our Life Enrichment Assistants play a key role in enriching our residents to live an active vibrant life!

What will you get to do as a Life Enrichment Assistant?

• Get to know the residents of our community so that you can help with the planning and implementation of spiritual, physical, intellectual, cultural, and emotional programming that will make residents feel engaged and fulfilled.
• Promote and communicate upcoming community events and activities.
• Participate in activities. Residents love games, painting, singing, and music and we need someone to help organize and run these events!
• Utilize social media, email, and newsletters to showcase the fun things happening each day!
• Those 21 or over may occasionally drive the company vehicle to transport residents to and from events.
• Help set up and break down events and activities.
