Job summary

Springfield Rehabilitation and HealthCare Center in Springfield, MO is seeking a Life Enrichment Assistant to provide engaging daily activities for residents in Long Term Care, Memory Care, or Rehab. You will work with a compassionate team and schedule includes some weekends/evenings/holidays.

The role emphasizes assessments, care plans, timely documentation, and adherence to state, federal, and facility guidelines, with opportunities to create meaningful experiences and strengthen resident

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication and time management required.
• Team player with basic typing and computer skills.
• Proficiency in Word and Publisher for calendars and marketing materials.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead daily activities for residents in Long Term Care, Memory Care, or Rehab.

Join our family-oriented TEAM at Springfield Rehabilitation and HealthCare Center in Springfield, MO as a Life Enrichment Assistant! We are looking for a compassionate, energetic, and creative individual who enjoys working with seniors and is passionate about enhancing their quality of life.

What You’ll Do

• Plan and lead meaningful daily activities for Long Term Care, Memory Care, or Rehab patients (some weekends/evenings/holidays required)
• Complete assessments, care plans, and documentation in a timely manner
• Ensure all State, Federal, and facility guidelines are met
• Collaborate with staff to build morale and bring the fun to our residents

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Team player with basic typing and computer skills
