Job summary

Pine Haven Christian Communities is seeking a Life Enrichment Assistant to help residents stay active, engaged, and connected through a variety of activities and programs.

The role focuses on building relationships, encouraging participation, and supporting a warm, welcoming environment while adhering to safety and infection control policies. Some weekend rotation is required, including every other Saturday from 10:00am to 3:00pm.

Qualifications

• Experience working with older adults or in senior living settings preferred.
• Ability to lead and assist with both group and individual activities.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to foster social engagement.

Responsibilities

• Encourage residents to participate and stay socially engaged.
• Build meaningful relationships through conversation and companionship.
• Escort residents to and from activities as needed.
• Document activity participation and maintain required records.
• Observe residents and communicate changes to the nursing team.
