Job summary

Heritage Communities in Omaha is seeking a Life Enrichment Assistant to enhance residents’ daily experiences through tailored activities and events.

You will support move-ins, orientations, and the creation of engaging newsletters and social content, while fostering warm relationships with residents, families, and the team.

Qualifications

• Ideal: 1+ year in activity development or programming for seniors.
• Experience caring for residents with cognitive or memory-care needs is preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification is required or in progress.
• Valid driver's license with reliable driving record is expected.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Plan, run, and promote engaging activities tailored to resident interests and abilities.
• Meet prospective families or residents, coordinate move-ins and orientations.
• Assist with creating community newsletters, promotions, and social posts.
• Build positive relationships with residents, families, and staff.

What You’ll Do:

As a Life Enrichment Assistant, you’ll play a hands‑on role in improving the lives of our residents by:

• Planning, executing, and promoting engaging community activities and events tailored to resident interests, talents, and hobbies.
• Meeting with prospective families or residents, coordinating move‑ins and facilitating new resident orientations.
• Assisting with the creation of community newsletters, promotions, and social media posts for company websites
• Building positive relationships with residents, their families, and team members.

Requirements

What We’re Looking For:

• 1+ year of experience in activity development, planning, and execution within a senior living or related industry (preferred).
• Experience caring for individuals with cognitive and memory‑care needs.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Compassionate communication and teamwork skills.
