Job summary

Legend Senior Living is seeking a Life Enrichment (Activities) Assistant to plan and execute engaging resident activities and manage event calendars with budgeting and coordination with outside partners.

You will tailor programs to residents' needs, oversee specific enrichment components as assigned, and arrange transportation for events using company vehicles when necessary.

Qualifications

• Required: Current, valid driver's license
• Required: Age 25 or older to meet company insurance requirements
• Required: Clean driving record to meet company insurance requirements
• Required: Willingness and ability to transport residents in company vehicles
• Prefer: Experience working with one or more of the following: seniors, event planning, lesson planning, demonstrated creative skills
• Individual is required to perform standing, walking, bending, pushing, pulling and lifting up to 50 lbs throughout their shift.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the planning and implementation of resident activities, to include calendar development, budgeting, coordinating with outside organizations, setup, and cleanup
• Helping to ensure activities meet the needs and preferences of residents
• Being willing to provide oversight of a specific life enrichment component (e.g. Memory Care, specific activity, etc.) as assigned
• Coordinating the transportation of residents to and from outside events to include driving company vehicle when needed
• Communicating effectively with residents and staff
• Adhering to company policies, procedures and safety guidelines

Job description

Monday- Wednesday 9am-4:30pm; Weekends as needed
