Position Summary:

The Life Enrichment Assistant assists in planning and performing life enrichment activities that are beneficial and complimentary to the social welfare and interests of the residents of a senior life connections community.

Required Experience for Life Enrichment Assistant:

• Minimum one to three years related experience and/or training preferred.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, which may include evenings, weekends, and holiday hours.
• Compassionate towards the senior population.
• Ability to work independently and in collaboration with a team.

Primary Responsibilities for Life Enrichment Assistant:

• Actively support our 1440 culture and pillars.
• Assist the Life Enrichment Director with the overall direction, planning, communication, and execution of activities and life skills in the Life Enrichment department.
• Support the Life Enrichment Director and Lead with administrative tasks as needed.
• Complete all tasks while maintaining a high level of resident safety.
• Support setup, cleanup, and upkeep of activity areas and community spaces.
• Assist with transportation, outings, and coordinate relevant administrative tasks, ensuring safety practices are upheld.
• Adhere to all standards outlined in the Employee Handbook.

General Working Conditions:

This position involves standing for long periods. Effective communication, sitting, standing, walking, and using hands for handling equipment are required. Occasional reaching, lifting, and moving up to 25 pounds may be necessary. The environment involves moderate noise levels, and occasional travel may be required.
