Danbury Senior Living is seeking a Life Enrichment Assistant to support residents through a variety of activities and programs. You will work with the Life Enrichment Director to plan and implement recreational, social, intellectual, emotional, and spiritual activities that enhance residents' quality of life.

The role emphasizes patience, compassion, and a cheerful disposition toward seniors, with opportunities to contribute to a caring community and engage residents in meaningful experiences.

Qualifications

• Experience in a senior living activities / life enrichment department is helpful, but not required.
• Essential that our Life Enrichment Assistants are patient, compassionate, and caring.
• A great outlook, cheerful disposition, and love of seniors are a must.

Responsibilities

• Help the Life Enrichment Director in planning and implementing resident activities.
• Activities are recreational, social, intellectual, emotional, and spiritual programs such as exercise, arts and crafts, entertainment, outings, and games.
• Contribute to a warm, supportive environment for residents and their families.

We are currently seeking applicants for Life Enrichment Assistant positions. This position is also often referred to as an Activities Assistant or Activity Aide.
What do Life Enrichment Assistants do at Danbury?

• Our Life Enrichment Assistants help the Life Enrichment Director in planning and implementing resident activities. These activities are recreational, social, intellectual, emotional, and spiritual programs. Some examples are: exercise classes, arts and crafts, musical entertainment, group outings, trivia and bingo, brain games, church services, and much more!
