Job summary

Danbury North Ridgeville is seeking a Life Enrichment Assistant to help plan and execute activities that enhance residents’ social welfare and interests. The role supports the Life Enrichment Director, coordinates with the team, and helps maintain activity spaces with a focus on safety and quality of life.

Responsibilities include organizing events, assisting with scheduling, and performing administrative tasks while ensuring compassionate, independent teamwork and adherence to policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–3 years related experience or training preferred.

Job Type Part Time

Schedule Every Wednesday from 1pm 7pm and every other Tuesday and Thursday from 1030am 430pm

Pay 1450

Position Summary The Life Enrichment Assistant assists in planning and performing life enrichment activities that are beneficial and complimentary to the social welfare and interests of the residents of a senior life connections community

Required Experience for Life Enrichment Assistant

Minimum one to three years related experience andor training preferred

Must be able to work a flexible schedule which may include evenings weekends and holiday hours

Compassionate towards the senior population

Ability to work independently and in collaboration of team

Proficient in general computer skills

Primary Responsibilities for Life Enrichment Assistant

Actively support our 1440 culture and pillarsAssist the Life Enrichment Director with the overall direction planning communication and execution of activities and life skills in the Life Enrichment departmentSupports the Life Enrichment Director and Life Enrichment Lead with administrative tasks as neededComplete all tasks and functions while maintaining a high level of resident safetySupport in proper setup clean up and upkeep of activity areas and community spacesSupport transportation by attending outings coordinating relevant administrative tasks and upholding safety practicesAdhere to and uphold all standards in the Employee Handbook

General Working Conditions

This position entails standing for long periods of time While performing the duties of this job the employee is required to communicate effectively with others sit stand walk and use hands to handle keyboard telephone paper files and other equipment and objects The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms This position requires the ability to review detailed documents and read computer screens The employee will occasionally lift andor move up to 25 pounds The work environment requires appropriate interaction with others The noise level in the work environment is moderate Occasional travel to different locations may be required
