Job summary

Danbury Senior Living is seeking a Life Enrichment Assistant to support the Life Enrichment Director in planning and implementing resident activities. These activities are recreational, social, intellectual, emotional, and spiritual in nature and may include exercise classes, arts and crafts, musical entertainment, group outings, trivia, bingo and more.

Experience in a senior living activities department is helpful but not required.

Will be assisting with resident appointments, driving the bus when needed.

What do Life Enrichment Assistants do at Danbury?

• Our Life Enrichment Assistants help the Life Enrichment Director in planning and implementing resident activities. These activities are recreational, social, intellectual, emotional, and spiritual programs. Some examples are: exercise classes, arts and crafts, musical entertainment, group outings, trivia and bingo, brain games, church services, and much more!

What experience or skills do you need to be a Life Enrichment Assistant at Danbury?

• Experience in a senior living activities / life enrichment department is helpful, but not required.
• It is essential that our Life Enrichment Assistants are patient, compassionate, and caring.
• A great outlook, cheerful disposition, and love of seniors are a must.
