Job summary

Danbury Senior Living seeks a Life Enrichment Assistant to support the Life Enrichment Director in planning and executing resident activities. Activities include recreational, social, intellectual, emotional, and spiritual programs, such as exercise classes, arts and crafts, musical entertainment, group outings, trivia and bingo, brain games, and church services.

Ideal candidates are patient, compassionate, and caring, with a love of seniors; experience in a senior living activities department

Qualifications

• Experience in a senior living activities or life enrichment department is helpful but not required.
• Must be patient, compassionate and caring.
• Strong love of seniors and a cheerful disposition are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist Life Enrichment Director in planning and implementing resident activities.
• Organize recreational, social, intellectual, emotional, and spiritual programs.
• Lead or support exercise classes, arts and crafts, entertainment, outings, and games.
