Job summary

Saber Healthcare Group is seeking an Activity Assistant for a skilled nursing facility in Chesapeake, VA. The role focuses on planning and delivering engaging recreational, social, educational, cultural, physical and spiritual activities to residents, aligned with individual care plans.

We welcome applicants who are currently in high school or hold a diploma. Positions include full-time and part-time, with evenings and rotating weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in a high school program or have a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, implementing, and evaluating recreational, social, educational, cultural, physical and spiritual programs.
• Follow the resident’s assessment and care plan and supervisor directions.

Position Summary:

The primary purpose of your job is to assist in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of recreational, social, educational/intellectual, cultural, physical, emotional and spiritual programs, in accordance with the resident’s assessment and care plan, and as directed by your supervisor.

Education/Qualifications:

Must be currently enrolled in a high school program or have a high school diploma or equivalent.

• Full-Time and Part-Time Opportunity Available
• Shifts Needed: Varies
• Flexible openings with evenings and rotating weekends
• Wage: Starting at $16.00 per hour
