Job summary

Snow Canyon Retirement Community is seeking a Life Enrichment Assistant to enhance resident life through engaging activities and friendly, professional support. The role includes operating a company vehicle for resident outings and contributing to a warm, family-like atmosphere.

Responsibilities cover planning and executing activity programs, ensuring compliance with policies, documenting resident needs, and assisting with decorating and event participation.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand senior citizen needs and interests and execute programs.
• High school diploma required.
• Physical requirements include bending, standing, lifting up to 40 pounds.
• Satisfactory criminal background check and drug screen.
• Must have manual dexterity to operate a vehicle safely; clean driving record.
• Excellent interpersonal relations and ability to relate to a variety of people.

Responsibilities

• Administers / Assists in activity programming from inception to execution.
• Ability to follow established standards in the performance of duties according to state regulations and company policy and procedures.
• Confidential documentation of identified resident needs and or problems.
• Communicate with Life Enrichment Director resident feedback.
• Chauffer the residents in the company vehicle for scheduled activities.
• Attend weekend, evening, and holiday functions when necessary.
• Assist in decorating the community for holidays and special events.
• Will participate in and support the resident-centered activity and life enrichment programs.
