Ebenezer in Minnetonka, MN is seeking a Life Enrichment Assistant to help plan and run quality leisure and social activities for residents, and to drive the Ebenezer bus for outings.

The role supports psychosocial needs, coordinates with departments, and ensures safety and compliance during transportation. Applicants should have basic Microsoft Office skills, be 18+, have a driver’s license, and complete the required transportation curriculum.

Qualifications

• None to 1 year of related experience.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills required.
• Ability to work irregular hours, occasional weekends and evenings.
• Drivers License current and in good standing.
• Medical exam certification required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Insurable under employer's auto insurance coverage.
• Must complete and pass in-house transportation curriculum and driving evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Assists with leisure programs and activities.
• Leads social events and activity programs.
• Conducts exercise class for residents.
• Coordinates activity/leisure programs with all departments.
• Assists with special events and family functions.
• Documents as required.
• Offers suggestions to improve the events program.
• Assist residents' psychosocial needs and encourage participation.
• Promote resident independence and social relationships.
• Drives Ebenezer van/bus for resident outings.
• Reviews transportation checklist prior to outings.
• Maintains a log of transportation services and tasks.
• Ensures safety and welfare of passengers.
• Follows safety, fire, disaster and infection control procedures.
• Reports traffic violations or accidents.
