Legend Senior Living is seeking a Transportation Assistant to support the Life Enrichment team by planning and executing engaging activities for residents, with a focus on safety and enjoyment.

The role requires driving company vehicles, coordinating with outside events, and providing friendly, reliable transportation on Tuesday/Thursday and weekends, with opportunities for growth within a caring community.

Qualifications

• Current, valid driver’s license.
• Age 25 or older to meet company insurance requirements.
• Clean driving record to meet company insurance requirements.
• Willingness and ability to transport residents in company vehicles.
• Prefer: Experience working with seniors, event planning, lesson planning, demonstrated creative skills.
• Standing, walking, bending, pushing, pulling and lifting up to 50 lbs throughout shift.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning and implementation of resident activities, including calendar development, budgeting, coordinating with outside organizations, setup and cleanup.
• Help ensure activities meet residents' needs and preferences.
• Provide oversight of a specific life enrichment component as assigned (e.g., Memory Care, specific activity).
• Coordinate transportation of residents to/from outside events and drive company vehicles when needed.
• Communicate effectively with residents and staff.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures and safety guidelines.
